This site will trace the activities in photographs and commentary of James and Harriett Slaughter of Charlottesville, VA. The twelve children of this union -- Dorothy Dixon Brown, Cynthia Jones, Harriett Dixon, Martha Turner, Angela Turner, Alberta Johnson, Alice Ellis, Ruth Bannister, Naomi Goff, James Slaughter, Jr., Myrtle Johnson and Robert Slaughter -- have resided in mostly the Washington, D.C. area since the 1950's. CLIFFORD ELLIS -- 57 years old

Clifford, the fourth son born to Aunt Alice, passed on March 13, 2010. He lived in New Jersey and we were unaware of his illness. His daughter, Faith, followed his wishes and had him buried in the same place where Aunt Alice and his brother, Jimmy, were buried. May God bless Clifford's family.
