The twelve children of this union -- Dorothy Dixon Brown, Cynthia Jones, Harriett Dixon, Martha Turner, Angela Turner, Alberta Johnson, Alice Ellis, Ruth Bannister, Naomi Goff, James Slaughter, Jr., Myrtle Johnson and Robert Slaughter -- have resided in mostly the Washington, D.C. area since the 1950's. Hello Slaughter moms --
On this your day affords those of us who are the recipents of yor MOMDOM pay homage to you for all the things we remember and the oh so many we don't.
Take great pride in what you have created and nurtured through all odds and ultimately have as an end product such as myself try and relax on this your day,
but i know how extremely difficult that can be because after all you are a MOM!
