This site will trace the activities in photographs and commentary of James and Harriett Slaughter of Charlottesville, VA. The twelve children of this union -- Dorothy Dixon Brown, Cynthia Jones, Harriett Dixon, Martha Turner, Angela Turner, Alberta Johnson, Alice Ellis, Ruth Bannister, Naomi Goff, James Slaughter, Jr., Myrtle Johnson and Robert Slaughter -- have resided in mostly the Washington, D.C. area since the 1950's. Irene's three grandsons
