This site will trace the activities in photographs and commentary of James and Harriett Slaughter of Charlottesville, VA. The twelve children of this union -- Dorothy Dixon Brown, Cynthia Jones, Harriett Dixon, Martha Turner, Angela Turner, Alberta Johnson, Alice Ellis, Ruth Bannister, Naomi Goff, James Slaughter, Jr., Myrtle Johnson and Robert Slaughter -- have resided in mostly the Washington, D.C. area since the 1950's. James Nicholas Slaughter (1882 - 1961) and Harriett Gibbs Slaughter (1890 - 1975) of Charlottesville, VA have left a long, long legacy. Their 12 children are:

A proud mom and her children

Want you to see Sheri Saa and her two children, Malik and Kalila. Kalila is oldest and both she and Malik attend Massanutten Military Academy.
Notice the deep dimples in Sheri's cheeks, which are just like the deep dimples in Rob's cheeks, which are just like the deep dimples in Bobby's cheeks. . . Hmmmmm!
